Alone on earth

Hi there, i am going to tell you about what happens. I am alone on earth, just I woke up and I don’t saw anybody around. I think that this is a dream or I turned crazy or something, maybe I took a potent drug. Well the thing is that I am alone on earth and I could do anything I want. The best thing, is that only humans disappeared and animals are here with me.  Canela, my cat, seem so happy, included talk to me (yes she talks, and I can understand), she says me that the rest of humans disappeared at the night when I was sleeping. So I don´t know how long it lasts this particular situation.  Well the first thing that I am going to do is go to the bike store and take the best bicycle, after that I am going to ride on the streets very quickly, when I find an ice cream shop, I am going to prepare a giant pineapple ice cream and bathe in chocolate.

After that I am going to get a gun, this is why if I saw some human. I like this world, I going to enjoy it while I can.

A photograph i like

I choose this photograph because is important in several ways. This photograph was taken by Gabriel one of my best friends and the photography was taken in the kitchen of my house, about five years ago more and less.

On the picture are: Nicole, Yasmin and i. We were in my house with more friends; we were celebrate the birthday of one of them.

This photograph shows to us, the best women that I have known and the love that exist in this friendship. We are friends since 2008 when we knew us dancing breaking in San Miguel. Since this moment that  we are friends like sisters.

I like this photo because show to Nicole (Sista), Yasmin (Ratona) and I, and in this opportunity we had very fun moment in my house. I think that the day of photograph was spring and we had cooked a lot of good food like cake,  duchess potatos, sauteed  vegetables  .  Also we gived humorous gifts to Rorro because his birthday.

After of meal in my house, we put good music and did what we love to do, dance. I think that we sleep like one or two hours, and the next day, each to their home after breakfast.  

I hope that Gabriel take us a photograph again, maybe in another meeting in my house. 

My favourite music

I usually listen various types of music. Every day I listen to music on journey to my university or to my house. The music that I like is every parts of the world, but I don`t listen a lot of music in English. I think that my favourite music is the latin music, specifically the salsa. 

This music has its origen on african music, and latin rhythms, but it appear officially as music genre on latin neighborhoods of New York in the 1930 about. And Its name is comercial.

Salsa is a mixture of music, including the Cuban folklore music as “guaguancó” “son cubano” y “rumba”. This music genre expanded by Caribbean countries ,as Cuba, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela . Salsa has some differences depend on its country of origin.

I do not remember when i discovered this music, but i love Salsa a long time ago. I learned to dance Salsa with a friend and after that i couldnt stop to dance it.

I like a lot of singers of Salsa, i don´t have a singer favourite. Some singers that i like are Gilberto Santa Rosa, Héctor Lavoe y Ruben Blades. This music is so special for me, i love listen with atention the lyrics, and the many instruments that sounds in the songs.

My future job

Hello everyone, well i am going to talk about my future dream job. I am currently studying to be a forester, because that I would like have to job related with nature, specifically with wildlife such as birds, amphibians, reptiles and its dynamic with the environment.I would like to do activities outdoors in my work, like go to mountains and measure animal populations.In my future job I will to travel a lot, because I have to go to different parts of Chile to see the variety of ecosystems, and eventually I will have to travel abroad. In my future job, i will have some work to do in an office, principally data and satellite images analysis.This job can be, activities of investigation, conservation projects, academic studies, work to institutions like CONAF (Corporación nacional forestal) or INFOR (Instituto Forestal).My dream is work in CONAF, on conservation area, I would like travel to Juan Fernández Island and there, work to the preservation of Picaflor of Juan Fernández, and protection of endemic flora.Simultaneously, I would have a work teaching art workshop, like circus acrobatics, dance, yoga and some sports.If the earlier works fail, I would work selling cakes that I know cook. The thing most important for me is to be happy with that i will do.

The Best Holiday

My best holiday was on February of this year. I went to the fourth region of the Chile, near of Coquimbo, specifically a place called Guanaqueros. I went to Guanaqueros with my parents and David, this was really important because David is the best partner for me.  We stayed in a camping near of the beach,  by more or less ten days.In this place, we were going to the beach every days. My dad and me snorkeled to diary, I could see so clear the seafloor , and there were many fish and sea snails. At the lunch, we went to the town and we ate some good food. In the afternoon, usually we played cards listening to the radio.Also we go out to walk by the rocks far away, and this was great because we found many shells.

This holiday was the best because i went with people that I enjoy a lot. And I can see very wild animals like a  Chungungo, Zorro Culpeo, sea stars, jellyfish, shorebirds and sea wolves.

Post 1 : Mexico, the country that i would like to visit

Hey there, today i am going to tell you about the country that i would like to know and visit.

I want to visit many places in the world. But one of countries that I really want to go is Mexico.  I am so interested of native cultures of the American continent as the Maya empire. I would like to visit the monumental piramids that were built many years ago.

I wanted to enjoy the feast of the dead and learn about those so particular and outside customs chile. 

 Also I want to enjoy of a good food as tacos and burritos.

One of things because I am so interested, is  know the people of  Mexico , know the relation with their native culture, with their government and how they react to the corruption of the politicians.

Other thing that I would like to do in Mexico is go to the beach and snorkel in the clear waters of the sea.

I hope to that dream makes reality any day.  

My Blogging Experience

Blogs were not unknown for me before english class. But i never used one on a class. This task, resulted difficult for me, because i am not accustomed to talk, write or read in english. However i think i have learnt in this activity. The wrtting practice helps to learnt english.
This learning is useful because many information that is relevant for some subjects, is in english.
I think that write on blogs about our interest is a good idea, this is an incentive to do.
Also the forestry topics, and matter related with environment or animals are so interesting.
The fact of writing on blogs developed creativity of students too. Some times, i didn´t know to put in the texts, some times i could search more information and add it, but other times i  had must to improvise.
Although occasionally, this activity was boring, i enjoyed write about my family, my boyfriend, my cat and my favorite musicians.

My favorite subject

I entered to this career and subjects like maths, physic, and chemical scare me so much. But i have an anual subject called CICBAE that like me from de begin. This subject is divided in three modules or sections. The first is Climatology with the professor Caldentey, the second is biotic section, this is like botany. And the third corresponds to geomorfology with professor Fuentes.

I think that section of botany is most interest. Participates in the class all of my classmates, and thre professors make the classes. 

This classes include laboratory and fields practices. 

The last practice laboratory, the course was divide on grupos and we went around of campus to watch different species of plants. My classmate and me saw pinophytas, magnoleophytas. We could distinguish some structures as root type, stem consistency, and growth direction.
After that, we examined vegetables as carrots and onions.

The classes get better with the time. The next Saturday, we go to Cuesta la Dormida like field practice. we go for all day , and this practice will be so cool. 

I pick the best picture of my summer. Maybe there is not my friends, and is not a party or a beach, but    it is so important because in that picture, i am with two persons that i love so much.
When i see this photograph, i think that it is realy beauty. That picture was taken by my mom one day in the Cajon del Maipo. There we are: me Santiago, my litlte nephew, and my boyfriend David.
That was a summer day, when my family decided go to outing, and we went to a swimmig pool.
In this time my nephew was very young, he was two months. But despite that his age, he comported very good, like a gentleman.
We were a great place, near of river, and the vegetation was fascinating.
Me and my boyfriend David were so happy. We were spent a good time with "Santi Santi". Sometimes Santiago seemed laugh with the songs that we sang him.
 Before that picture, me and my family had lunch, with many food. After that, we go to swimm.
And suddenly the sky became gray, many clouds arrived and began to fall a few of drops.
I printed that photograph, and i put it on a wall of my room, because Santiago and David are the men of my life.
I have another photograph similar, but i likest this. The David´face is so fun, he was posing like a macho, and the face of Santiago make me laugh too.

Monito Del Monte

I going to speak of Monito Del Monte or Chumaihuen, it is a Chilean animal on extinction danger. This animal is one of the few marsupials of the world and is more important because is the unique survivor of the order, Microbiotheria, one of the oldes lineages of the marsupials, for this reason, it is considered a living fossil. Monito del Monte is an endemic specie, of the southern forest of Chile, that`s mean, that it existes only in this zone, in no case someone could find this animal on other part of world. 
 Its colony has been reduced principally a cause human activities. The constructions, roads, hunting, industries and its wastes, have caused the destructiion of Monito Del Monte`habitats. A cause of that is than a important part of poblation of this specie, lives on national parks, like Parque Nacional Los Alerces and Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi.

 On 2010, there is propose an iniciative to create a law that entrust of the careful and protection of this beauty animal. The ENDESA project threatens of the biodiversity of south zone, specifically in Rio Puero. 

 This project of law propose preservation, also education about the biodiversity and careful of environment, on educational institutions of the locality.

 Some articles of the project of law are: declare to Monito Del Monte like natural monument, motivate to the national parks to take actions about careful of the specie and reinforce the conservation and protection of habitats and ecosystems.

 I hope the noxius people become aware of the ecosystems and biodiversity.

El Gran Truco

El Gran Truco or The Prestige is a wonderful fantastic film, based on a book of the same name of the movie. It`s about magic tricks and rivalities between two wizards. During of film, the wizards acquire experience and become famous and great wizards.

This film is directed by Cristopher Nolan, he was director of trilogy of Batman. The protagonist actors in The Prestige are Christian Bale y Hugh Jackman. And it`s official premiere was on October of 2006, and it was produces by Warner Bros. Pictures.

The history happened on London. The protagonist personajes are Alfred Borden, and Robert Angier. They are rivals although before they worked togheter, but because a problem that they had with an important trik in a presentation the magicians entered on conflicted, this conflict is relationated with the love of a woman.

There Begin a competition between Alfred and Robert, creating new magic tricks and show its in their spectacles. First appear Alfred with a trick called “The new transported man”, some things happened and after that Robert appear with a spectacular trick and this is “The true Transported Man”.

This trick was about a Robert was insert on a kind of an electric capsule and in a flash, he appear in a some part of theater, but in reality the man who disappear on a capsule was not he. That is one of the mysteries of the movie.

I like so much this film because is amazing, and every time than i see it I discover more about The Prestige.

Bob Marley

I think that a man like Bob Marley is really unique in the world. I don`t say it only for his music, I say it, because he was a formidable man on all subjects.

He was a Jamaican man, and his name was Robert Nesta Marley.  He was an amazing artist, and he was known for the world with his band Bob Marley and The Wailers.  The music that Bob always played, was the reggae music. And the songs were often about rastafari religion, good vibrations, love, and get up high with the marihuana on spiritual states.

Bob Marley was a pacific man, he believed on the people, god, and on the triumph the nature over the humanity, and promulgated his beliefs with his music.

Bob marley died when he was 36 years old, on 1981.

I would love have seen him some time in my life.

I don´t really know what is my favorite band or Singer, but Aventura is a band that i like so much, in special the vocalist Romeo Anthony Santos.
 Aventura is a Dominican band , and it is integrated for four musicians, Anthony Santos, Lenny Santos, Henry Santos, Max Santos.
Aventura plays bachata´s music, and is frequenly than other singers play in concerts  or albums whit them, like Juan Luis Guerra or other latin artists.
My favorites songs of them is "Enseñame a olvidar" and "Solo por un beso". This music make me dream and i really love dance it.
Other of the reasons of because Aventura likes me is because this band begun on poor neighborhoods and with a reality different, they have known how to interpreted that reality.
This year Romeo Anthony Santos was in the Viña del Mar´s festival, and I had the privilege to go.
I love the Aventura´s songs because these always contain histories also they are good to dance.
Now, Romeo Santos is a soloist, but I think that Aventura was better with him.

Autobiography

My name is Paulina Celeste Díaz Calderón, i am 20 years old. My life is wonderful. I live in the best commune of the world, La Florida. I studied in four different schools, and i finished the secondary in the Santa Maria school. After that, i went to the Programa de Bachillerato at the University of Chile. While there, i realized i did not know that was what i wanted to study. In this time i left the university and i started to enjoy life and learn about other things in life. I don’t think that time has been lost.

On December of 2012 born my nephew and that was indescribable. He make me happy every day that i see him.

I decided to enroll in forestry really unconvinced, but so far this career i liked a lot.

 I only hope of future is go out of Santiago and know the world. I have a words to do it:  I don’t plan, I fly. The life going to take me where i have to go.

Fruits (topic-6)

Saturday is the day of the week that I enjoy more, speaking on issues of food.  Because every Saturday my parents go to the fair and arrive to home with many fruits.

On summer , i usually eat watermelon as desert.  And I always breakfast a juice fruit with bread.

I know that i feed my body and my soul when i ride on my bike. I have it since five years, and it has been so helpful to move and a perfect partner of adventures.

I love biking in the morning and whistle a good song on the road.  

Santiago, my nephew (topic-4)

One of  the most importants reasons of my life is my nephew. His name is Santiago Leon. He born on December of the last year, and arrived to the world to make the life more beautiful. 

Santiago is an unic boy.  I am waiting for the next visit of Santiago.

Canela (topic-3)

Canela is the name of the cat more wonderful of the world, and I have the privilege of live with it.

My cat is wild and naughty, its fur is very special, as a design.

Canela lives with me since six years ago, and its company has made me happy.

The spring (topic-2)

If I had to choose between the seasons of year, I would choose the spring.

In this season the flowers are beautiful and they are everywhere, the sun returns after of the cold winter, and the love is in the air. Also my birthday is in this season.
